Back to Basics: Fundamental Geometry Terms | Mathematics

In a recent TASC Test Assessing Secondary Completion™ math blog post, we discussed why geometry is important, and we discovered how to find the area of various geometric shapes – like cylinders, pyramids, cones, and spheres. Have you also been working hard to learn the volume of these 3D shapes?

At this point, your geometry knowledge is extensive. Because geometry is so relevant and widely used in our everyday lives, it’s essential the basics of geometry are understood.
